Nerja is the city of the famous tv show Verano Azul meaning Blue summer. It is the Rincón de la Victoria. It´s the most eastern locality in the region of Axarquia, bordering with the province of Granada.

Nerja is a municipality with a population of 25,000. The main income for this region is basically tourism. It is a city that has learned to exploit it´s most important recourses, the caves in Nerja considered a Natural monument, as well as the Balcon de Europa (europe´s balcony), with very impressive views of the sea and of the beaches and cliffs.
