Various are the cultural routes you can make in Torrox. You can visit roman ruins, arabic structure remains, as well as visit the different religious temples.

To start, you can take a lovely stroll through the beach promenade of Ferrara. It borders the entire area of apartments and culminates in what one day was a roman settlement. A place of great archeological and historic value. Clavicum was one of the biggest roman cities in the south.

If we stroll around the historic center of Torrox, we will step into a different era...one of narrow cobble stone streets, white walls, the smell of jasmine and many other plants in the balconies. We are amongst a clear Arab city that has kept it´s roots civilization after civilization.

There is a historic tour where you can visit the House of La hoya, the house in which King Alfonso XII stayed in when he came to visit the city after the earthquakes of the end of the XII century.
